If you go to the right bottom corner and press on the arrow to see all of your apps running on the pc, you should see the razer logo. Right click it and press "exit all apps". The popping sound and cutting out should stop.

WEBJul 16, 2021 · If you really want a mic you can just get an external USB mic. They'll generally sound better than mics on headsets too. I've never heard the krakens, but I've used two gaming headsets; a Logitech one and the steelseries arctis 3. The Arctis 3 sounds ok for music, but my SHP 9500 and HD58X far outclass it.

WEBMay 20, 2020 · Coming from the Kraken 7.1 V2, everything is the same except the RGB on the outside, audio, the THX button, the volume wheel, cooling gel ear cushions, and that it's compatible with Synapse 3. I prefer the 7.1 surround sound from the Kraken 7.1 V2 as that never messed with the quality of the audio, just made clear where sounds really came from.

WEBDec 13, 2020 · as an owner of this (and a ton of other headsets/headphones) this is true. the 3.5mm port is all you need for 3D sound from PS5 and you can use the Mic from the headset as well. it registers the device as a ‘Kraken Headset’ on PS5 when plugged into via usb but the audio seems distorted. Just do that for PCs

I've tried almost anything I can come up with, but the mic still doesn't work. The strange thing is that it is only the Windows (11) PC which has this issue. For example, if I plug in the headset to the iPad the microphone works fine.

If that's what you're after then that's great but if you want a decent quality mic and headphones I'd go with something else. I briefly had the wired kraken kitty headset (because cute) but returned it after realizing it was pretty meh.
