May 19, 2005 · Obi-wan is form III (3)- a defenvise form adapted to deflect balster bolts and defense based fighting. MAce- is Form VII a very aggressive style thats the user must have great control because it is so agressive that it borders on the dark side. Palps and Ypda seem to be a mix. Mar 6, 2007 · Jun 28, 2001. Well, the reason for the two Lightsabers is much simpler. Originally, Anakin chooses to join Palpatine rather than go back to the Temple. When the Jedi Posse arrive, Anakin refuses to move away from Palpatine and this results in Palpatine using Anakin's Lightsaber to fight the Jedi.
Why does Palpatine come with a blue lightsaber?
Dec 4, 2004 · Both of #35 Palpatine's Lightsaber's, the red one and the blue one, both have the same hilt that is all black on the bottom. It does not look like the same as #12 Emperor Palpatine's. Not the same hilt at all. This is all very strange. I would have though it would have been the same one as in the movie.

However there are clear signs of Form Five in Palpatine's attacks, in that it is very aggressive and, though it appears to be sloppy to an outside observor, is actually very effecient at directing an opponent's own strengths against them.

May 19, 2005 · Registered: Jan 12, 2000. While I think Palpatine was taught and knew all of the first 6 forms, his style seems to be to be primarily a blend of Form IV and Form V. Form VII is more a state of mind than an actual form, and given its recent beginnings, I find it unlikely Palpatine would be too familiar with it.

May 19, 2005 · What contempt? I saw no contempt for a Lightsaber. I see him mocking Luke's feeble attempts to pose as a Jedi. If there's any contempt it's for Luke's desire to be a Jedi. Listen to him. Palpatine: "Ah, yes. A Jedi's weapon." He's making note of Luke's attempt to become a Jedi. The mocking is about that, not for a Lightsaber.

Mar 6, 2007 · When the Jedi confront Palpatine, Mace orders Anakin to stand aside and he refuses. Palpatine then stands up and takes Anakin's Lightsaber and uses it to fight the Jedi Masters. When you watch this closely, in the final film, you can see Anakin's saber instead of Palpatine's in a few shots.
