All flights to and from Bristol Airport have been stopped due to snow on the ground - with incoming planes forced to circle away and passengers left delayed for hours

In a post online, Bristol Airport said: "Disruption to flights at Bristol Airport due to earlier bad weather. Flights were suspended this morning but have now started to arrive and depart. Expect knock-on delays to some flights. Passengers should check their flight before travelling to the airport."

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) said it would close all its runways the evening of Jan. 6, 2025 to concentrate on snow removal after a winter storm moved across the region. DCA said crews also would be focused on preventing refreezing.
