State attorneys will call as many as 25 witnesses from a variety of expertise areas to try to prove the suspect’s guilt at trial in the Idaho student murder case.

A local legal analyst and attorney doubts the defense’s efforts to get evidence thrown out in the Idaho murders trial will make it to trial, however she said it could still have an impact on the case.

Lawyers for Idaho college killings suspect Bryan Kohberger say prosecutors need to be sanctioned over failures to hand over required expert witness disclosures putting Kohberger in a position where he will be “greatly prejudged” at trial.

The defense reasserted its prior allegations to try to justify to the judge why he should strike a multitude of state evidence in the case involving the deaths of four University of Idaho students.
