The losing streak is finally over. After nine straight losses, Butler ended its skid Wednesday night, beating Seton Hall 82-77 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Butler had a chance to tie Creighton in the final seconds of the game. Patrick McCaffery's shot missed, and Butler fell to Creighton 80-76.

Pierre Brooks II scored 19 and Andre Screen added 16 to lead Butler to an 82-77 win over Seton Hall, putting the Bulldogs nine-game skid to an end.

The offense finally arrived for Seton Hall basketball, but the defense has disappeared. The Pirates rallied from 13 points down to pull within two in the closing moments at Butler Wednesday, but fell 82-77 to a Bulldogs squad that had lost nine straight games.
