The test vehicle, a 100% electric prototype, began by driving along a road in California before lifting off vertically and soaring over another car marking a breakthrough in automotive and aeronautical engineering. The vehicle uses distributed electric propulsion and a mesh layer covering its propeller blades to facilitate flight.
