Microsoft’s determination to destroy the great reputation of Game Pass continues apace, with the news that the corporation has suddenly pulled its years-long offer of a two-week trial subscription for a dollar, just a week before it adds Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to the subscription.

Xbox appears to have removed the option to try Game Pass for 14 days for $1 in preparation for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6's release.

Microsoft is bringing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to Xbox Cloud Gaming on its launch day (October 25). In addition, Modern Warfare III and the battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone arrive on the platform on the same day.

Microsoft has waved goodbye to its famous $1 Xbox Game Pass trial, just days before the much-anticipated release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 25th. Gaming initiative for he success of the new campaign which cost a dime for those gamblers who want to sneak in.

With less than two weeks to go before Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 makes its debut, Microsoft has removed its £1/$1 Game Pass trial deal. As you can see in the image below, taken by Eurogamer this morning, the Game Pass page currently only shows the full prices for a month on the subscription service.

Black Ops 6 is the first Call of Duty game to launch day-one on Game Pass. It comes a year after Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which has also seen the likes of Diablo 4 and Modern Warfare 3 hit the subscription service, and will see StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection arrive in November.

Microsoft first stopped its $1 trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass in March last year, before bringing it back and nerfing it down to just 14 days instead of a full month. The Xbox maker then briefly removed the $1 trial just days before Starfield ’s debut in September.
