Boston is coming off a 109-86 drubbing of the Houston Rockets. In that game, Kristaps Porzingis finally returned to action after spraining his ankle. He played 28 minutes and had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks. The Celtics still didn't have their full starting lineup up there.

Jaylen Brown will miss the Boston Celtics’ game at Minnesota on Thursday night with a strained right shoulder. Brown, who’s averaging 24.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists, was injured in Boston's blowout of the Raptors on Tuesday in Toronto.

Another Celtics star remained sidelined, however. Jaylen Brown missed his second straight game with a right shoulder sprain. Al Horford also sat out for rest purposes on the second night of a back-to-back.
