After forcing a Bo Nix interception late in regulation, Cincinnati drove the ball deep into Denver territory, which culminated with Bengals running back Chase Brown sliding inside the five-yard line to stay in bounds and chew up the clock when he could have scored to give the Bengals the lead.

Cincinnati's head coach stayed aggressive and an injury threw off a chance to bleed the clock almost all the way down.

In a strange coaching decision from Zac Taylor, Brown was instructed to go down without scoring a touchdown in order to burn clock late in regulation. Brown did so and got hurt, causing him to get replaced by Khalil Herbert for the rest of the game.
