MSU's top line of junior forwards Daniel Russell, Isaac Howard, and Charlie Stramel connected on the game-winning goal with just over 5 minutes remaining. Russell brought the puck into the zone and shuffled it to Howard, who passed to a streaking Stramel, who put a shot past Wisconsin goaltender Tommy Scarfone.

Michigan State welcomed in Wisconsin for the latest weekend series in Big Ten action. Despite falling down 3-1 in the contest, MSU was able to rally with three unanswered goals to take home a 4-3 win.
