I’m so hurt ... . I would like them to be a part of my life moving forward but how is this possible under these circumstances?

But my best friend absolutely refuses to acknowledge that I am happy in my new (work) situation and happy in my new relationship. Any time I even try to mention either or talk about anything remotely related they change the subject.
