While speaking with The Guardian about the current state of the James Bond franchise, Ms. Salke let it be known that any supposed tensions between Amazon MGM Studios and EON Productions leadership is unfounded. Keeping that spirit in mind, here’s what Jennifer Salke had to say about Bond 26:

The next James Bond movie has been given a disappointing update, with a studio boss saying they are "not concerned" with the gap between films. The last instalment in the long-running spy franchise, No Time to Die, was released three years ago, the movie acting as Daniel Craig ’s swansong as 007.

The head of James Bond — we imagine relaxing in her island volcano lair — has declared that we fans need to be "patient" while they decide who the next Bond will be.

To be clear, when we say all the James Bond films, we mean the 25 “official” films produced by EON, which began with Dr. No in 1962 and ran through Daniel Craig’s final film in 2021. The 1967’s spoof version of Casino Royale and 1983’s old-Bond-returns, Never Say Never Again, are both not included in this list.
