BOSTON — When the Bruins traded Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators over the summer, it split up the tandem of Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman, which was not only one of the best goalie duos in the NHL, but two close friends.

Jeremy Swayman made his season debut for the Boston Bruins in their home opener on Thursday night, just four days after signing a new $66 million contract and three after his first practice with the team.
