Seven people showed up at Kalamazoo hospitals with gunshot wounds from two separate incidents late Saturday and early Sunday morning, police say.

Police officers in Kalamazoo are investigating a pair of shootings that left at least seven people hurt during the dark hours of Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Five men and two women were hurt after two separate shootings took place in Kalamazoo Saturday and Sunday. Public safety officers were first called at 11:58 p.m. Saturday after shots rang out at a strip mall on Gull Road,

KALAMAZOO, MI – Five men and two women were injured in shootings overnight Saturday across Kalamazoo. Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers say all of those injured in the shootings are adults and are expected to survive.

KDPS said the shootings don't appear to be random and there's no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
