Authorities made an arrest Tuesday after the shooting and killing of a 19-year-old man over the weekend in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

A 19-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday morning in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Officers from the San Diego Police Department responded to the shooting on the 300 block of Willie James Jones Avenue, east of Interstate 805, just after 9:30 a.m.

San Diego police are investigating a shooting Sunday morning in Lincoln Park that left one person dead. The shooting was reported shortly before 9:40 a.m. on South Willie James Jones Avenue, near Lincoln High School,
