LORAIN, Ohio (WOIO) - Investigators say shooting suspect Michael Joseph Parker, 28, of North Lakeview Boulevard, in Lorain was found with multiple high-powered rifles, handguns and large amounts of an explosive called Tannerite.
The gunman accused of ambushing three Lorain police officers had previously been cited by the officer killed following a 2022 crash.

Lorain officer Phillip Wagner was killed in an ambush while on lunch break. Another officer is critical. Gunman Michael Parker died at the scene.
Data analyzed by the CBS News Crime Unit shows at least 50 law enforcement officers have been shot in ambush attacks so far this year.
