The Houston Astros made a trade deadline splash when they traded for Minnesota Twins infielder Carlos Correa. While the Astros don't need a shortstop, even more so now that Jeremy Pena is back, Correa's return spurred the Astros to make a few roster moves.

Correa signed a six-year, $200 million contract with the Minnesota Twins before the 2023 season began. He was part of the Twins' first playoff series win in 21 years, and an obvious leader in the clubhouse. But with the team in fire sale mode, it suddenly made sense for him to return to his old stomping ground.

Astros are bringing back Carlos Correa, their 2015 Rookie Of the Year, 2017 World Series champion and three-time All-Star.
