Davos, Jan 20 (PTI) Billionaire wealth across the globe surged by USD 2 trillion in 2024 to USD 15 trillion at a rate three times faster than the previous year, a study showed on Monday here as the richest of the world began to assemble for their annual jamboree in this ski resort town.

The wealth of the world's super-rich is growing ever faster, a study published on Monday by the development organization Oxfam has shown ahead of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. According to the report,

Billionaire wealth skyrocketed by $2 trillion in 2024, reaching an unprecedented $15 trillion—equivalent to $5.7 billion amassed daily, according to an Oxfam report released today.
