Ukraine imposed sanctions on three Chinese companies on Friday claiming they were involved in production of advanced Iskander missiles, a day after President Volodymyr Zelenskiy alleged that China had been supplying weapons to Russia.

Ukraine has evidence of China's support for Russia's war effort. "Today, we have general information from the Security Service (of Ukraine), from intelligence about gunpowder, artillery," revealed Volodymyr Zelensky.

Rubio spoke in Paris after talks among U.S., Ukrainian and European officials produced outlines for steps toward peace and appeared to make some progress.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Ambassador Steve Witkoff are in Paris to talk to European leaders about ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.
