Tennessee defensive back Boo Carter was separated from the team during the first preseason practice he tries to atone for missing team activities.

Tennessee practiced for the first time in fall training camp on Wednesday at Haslam Field. The Vols will continue with practices until their season starts on Aug. 30 versus Syracuse in the Aflac Kickoff.
