CMLL's Viernes Espactacular event on October 18 saw a pair of debuts for AEW stars "Timeless" Toni Storm and Red Velvet, who achieved vastly different results.

On October 18th, La Catalina and Toni Storm would face off in singles action. On the show, La Catalina would hit a diving Splash on Storm to pick up the big-time win. This was Storm's first match ever in Mexico and her first match ever in CMLL.
