Treehouse Foods, which makes waffles and other foods for Target and other national retailers, discovered the issue through routine testing at their manufacturing facility, according to a news release.

TreeHouse Foods issued the recall; waffles were sold under Walmart, Target, and Publix store brands among other retailers.
