It is the most wonderful time of the year for the Hallmark Channel after their Countdown to Christmas programming began on Oct. 18, but there’s at least one former employee who is alleging that things weren’t so jolly behind the scenes.

Following news that a former Hallmark Channel casting director filed an age discrimination lawsuit against the network — calling out an exec who allegedly said Lacey Chabert and Holly Robinson Peete were “too old” for Hallmark — it seems Peete has something to say.

Hallmark executives Lisa Hamilton Daly and Randy Pope are being sued by casting director Penny Perry for their "vile and ageist conduct" against her. She alleges that Lisa Hamilton Daly wants to "replace" "old talent" like Lacey Chabert and Holly Robinson Peete.
