Liberia-Flagged Tanker Struck by Projectile in Red Sea as Tensions Escalate Near Yemen
British security firm Ambrey reported on Thursday that a Liberia-flagged tanker was hit by an unidentified projectile in the Red Sea, about 73 nautical miles southwest of the Yemeni port of Hodeidah. The vessel, en route from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Muscat, Oman, sustained minor damage to its bridge.
