Police said Jan. 29 that the river search relating to the disappearance of sisters Eliza Huszti and Henrietta Huszti in Scotland, has been called off over three weeks after they went missing.

Eliza and Henrietta Huszti's disappearance earlier this month sparked a major search operation. Police Scotland previously said there had been nothing to suggest "suspicious circumstances or criminality".

Officers continue to appeal for information and are urging anyone who may have seen Eliza and Henrietta to come forward.

Police searches in the River Dee in Aberdeen to trace two sisters who disappeared earlier this month have come to an end.

A major operation to find Eliza and Henrietta Huszti is continuing after the pair vanished earlier this month. Police previously said there was no evidence of any "suspicious circumstances" related to their disappearance.

Police confirmed today after "extensive and detailed searches" of the river and the Harbour area, the investigation has concluded there.

Searches of Aberdeen's River Dee and harbour area after two sisters disappeared have now ended. Eliza and Henrietta Huszti were last seen at Victoria Bridge in the early hours of Tuesday 7 January. The 32-year-old sisters - who are from a set of triplets - are originally from Hungary.

While police will continue scouring the coast to the north and south, a search of the river and harbour have been called off. Superintendent David Howieson said: ‘Extensive and
