Austin Cindric held off Ryan Preece by 22-thousandths of a second to claim his first victory of the season and give Team Penske its first win of the year, Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway. It is Cindric’s third career victory and snaps a 30-race winless streak.

As the laps wound down, a Chevy brigade of Byron, Larson and Alex Bowman challenged Ford's Cindric for the lead. Cindric held the low line while Byron led the high line. Preece, a fellow Ford driver, slid high alongside Cindric for the final few laps, setting up the furious finish.

Austin Hill scored his third win of the season when NASCAR ruled he was ahead of Jeb Burton as the caution came out on the final lap. Connor Zilisch was leading on the final lap. He blocked Jesse Love and there was contact,
