The Texas Rangers placed shortstop Corey Seager on the 10-day injured list because of a strained right hamstring.

The Texas Rangers’ offense returned to full strength Sunday after multiple early-season injuries left them short-handed for the bulk of the first month of play. They were able to arrange a new-look lineup because of that Tuesday afternoon and immediately reaped rewards that evening.

The Texas Rangers and Corey Seager got some bad news on Wednesday night. Seager's hamstring issue that resulted in his removal from Tuesday's game isn't going away immediately. The Rangers placed Seager on the 10-day injured list. The official diagnosis is a right hamstring strain.
