Viewers of Gavin and Stacey: A Fond Farewell on BBC One last night were treated to a huge surprise as one of the show’s longest-running mysteries was addressed. The official finale of the series aired on Christmas Day, with fans getting the satisfaction of a lot of loose ends being tied up.
Gavin and Stacey fishing trip footage finally revealed
The hour-long documentary which aired on New Year's Day, showed some footage designed to look like an old camcorder video. The footage shows a young Jason sat on a grassy bank by a river holding a fishing rod, whilst in the background Bryn says "Ah, who do we have here?", as Jason waves at the camera.
