Sheffield United have signed Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury on loan until the end of the season. Choudhury, 27, has made 91 league appearances for the Foxes and worked under Blades boss Chris Wilder during a season-long loan spell with Watford in 2022-23.

The midfielder, who recently declared to play for Bangladesh the country of his mother’s birth, follows striker Tom Cannon to Bramall Lane as Leicester free up funds to add to Ruud van Nistelrooy’s squad before the end of the transfer window.
