Houston announced a host of improvements to Toyota Center on Thursday, headlined by a sizable new scoreboard. The 6,200 square-foot display is more than double the size of the arena’s previous video board,

The team signed a deal with Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System, replacing Credit Karma Money as Houston’s new jersey partner. Memorial Hermann has partnered with the Rockets since 2005 and recently signed a naming rights deal for the team’s new $70 million practice facility, which opened this summer.

One of the most important figures about the new Memorial Hermann | Houston Rockets Training Center is 75,000. That’s the square footage of the brand-new center, triple the amount of space the team previously enjoyed at the Toyota Center. “It turned out exactly as nice as I wanted it to be,” says Tilman Fertitta, Rockets owner. “And I like nice.”

Funded by owner Tilman Fertitta, the Rockets will debut a new scoreboard at Toyota Center as part of a series of arena and fan experience upgrades.
