CONFLICT ENTERS FOURTH DAY: Israel and Iran have begun a new round of attacks, as the conflict between the two heavily armed rivals enters its fourth day.

Iranian media report new Israeli attacks on the west of the country on Monday, after Iranian strikes broke through Israel's iron Dome defences overnight.

The Israel Defense Forces said the air force had launched strikes against missile sites in central Iran, as the Middle East conflict entered a fourth day.

In a small, tight-knit town near Haifa in northern Israel, residents here never thought they would experience such horror.

It follows daytime attacks from both sides, with Israeli strikes in Tehran continuing and Iran firing more missiles towards Israel.

Israel has no intention of deliberately harming the residents of Tehran, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said, walking back earlier comments he had made on Monday. "I wish to clarify the obvious: there is no intention to physically harm the residents of Tehran as the murderous dictator does to the residents of Israel,

The Israeli military said that its air force has struck a number of command centers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It said that the command centers, which were in Tehran, were used to direct proxy groups to launch attacks against Israel.

President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a stark warning to Iran against retaliating on U.S. targets in the Middle East while also predicting Israel and Iran would “soon” make a deal to end their escalating conflict.
