Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith will team up with New England Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye in a competition called "Passing the Test" at the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith is a Pro Bowler after all. On Monday, the team announced that Smith will participate in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, becoming the Dolphins’ only representative at the NFL’s annual all-star competition.

With the Chiefs’ Travis Kelce making the Super Bowl, the record-setting Dolphins tight end had a Pro Bowl spot open up.

Tight end Jonnu Smith, who set franchise record for receptions, yards and touchdowns scored with the Dolphins this past season, was named to the AFC roster for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. Smith replaced Travis Kelce, who will be participating in the Super Bowl, which made him ineligible to participate in next week’s Pro Bowl activities.
