Michigan’s Amish community suffered losses in two parts of the state Tuesday after unrelated crashes claimed a total of seven victims, including six who died in Tuscola County when a driver ran a stop sign and their truck t-boned a van and a 4-year-old in a separate crash.

A pickup truck has crashed into a van carrying members of an Amish group in rural Michigan, killing at least six people.
