A Perdue Farms chicken plant in Monterey, Tenn. will close in March amid company restructuring.

Perdue Farms is closing their Monterey plant, the Putnam County mayor announced Thursday night.

More than 400 employees are being impacted by the closure of the Perdue Farms Monterey plant. Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter reacted to the news.
