Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said Jeff Bianco was standing in the back of a moving golf cart when he fell. The sheriff would not say if John Elway was the driver.

Investigators told the Denver Post “nothing” they have discovered leads them to believe the head injury Sperbeck suffered is a law enforcement issue.

We’re doing everything we can to make sure that this is what it appears to be, and just an accident,” Sheriff Chad Bianco said.
