NBC will air a special Sunday-night edition of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' following the November 17 broadcast of 'Sunday Night Football'

Jimmy Fallon is heading into his post-gridiron phase. The Tonight Show will air a rare Sunday night episodes on November 17 after Sunday Night Football. The late-night show will come on after Anthony Richardson’s Indianapolis Colts take on Aaron Rodgers’ New York Jets at Met Life (following local news).

Sunday Night Football is TV’s most-watched program in primetime TV, and has been for 13 years, making it an attractive lead-in for the Tonight Show, which will tape in its 30 Rockefeller Plaza studio. Local news will run in between the end of the NFL program and the start of the Tonight Show.
