Many Utahns could wake up to a white Christmas this year — or at least cleaner air. A small storm is forecast to join Santa on his route, passing through the state between late Christmas Eve and early Christmas Day.

Utah! A weak system passing to the north has brought a few valley rain and mountain snow showers to northern Utah this morning.

Storm #1 is moving through northern Utah this morning. It has been producing valley rain and mountain snow showers throughout the morning. It's a fast-moving storm, so it will exit the state by afternoon. Then our weather will be quiet for the rest of today and for most of Christmas Eve.

It's the week of Christmas but it doesn't exactly feel like it. But, there is some good news for Utahns dreaming of a white Christmas.

It's the first full week of winter! We kick off this holiday week with temperatures about 10-15 degrees above average.
