The State Department has issued a new rule when it comes to those wishing to apply for a Visa in order to gain access to the United States

The State Department said that it has been a requirement since 2019 for student visa applicants to submit social media accounts on application forms. However, it was not required before that applicants make their accounts public.

Earlier, the Trump administration had stopped scheduling new visa interviews for international students at US embassies and consulates around the world.
