MLive- Flint/Saginaw/Bay City on MSNRed Wings acquire draft pick to facilitate Kraken-Lightning dealThe Detroit Red Wings acquired a 2025 fourth-round pick today to facilitate the trade that sent center Yanni Gourde from Seattle to Tampa Bay. The Kraken shipped Gourde to Detroit for defense prospect Kyle Aucoin. The Red Wings then sent Gourde to the Lightning for a conditional fourth-round pick.
Selected by Columbus in the third round (No. 89) of the 2013 NHL Draft, Bjorkstrand has 375 points (167 goals, 208 assists) in 606 regular-season games for the Kraken and Blue Jackets and 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists) in 45 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
To complete the deal, Tampa Bay sends forward Michael Eyssimont, a first-round draft pick in 2026, a first-round draft pick in 2027 and Toronto's second-round draft pick in 2025
