Dana Carvey says it was a "real challenge" to play Joe Biden on "SNL," noting that he "knew that he was compromised mentally."

For his portrayal of the former president on “Saturday Night Live,” Carvey admitted that he had to toe a careful line.

"I knew that he was compromised mentally, I mean, it was obvious. But it was a delicate thing in the comedy world," Carvey said. "There were a lot of people who did not want to do anything that would kind of ding him in an awkward way.
