The San Antonio Spurs have picked up the options on the rookie contracts for Victor Wembanyama, Jeremy Sochan, Blake Wesley, and Malaki Branham.

Branham has emerged as a solid rotational piece for the Spurs and has improved with each passing year, so the team has decided to keep him around not only for this season, but for 2025-26 as well. Branham averaged 9.2 points, 2.1 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game across 75 regular-season appearances in 2023-24, his second year in The Association.

The San Antonio Spurs did some contract housekeeping before the 2024-25 season starts. The team announced it exercised the fourth-year team options on Jeremy Sochan, Malaki Branham, and Blake Wesley.
