The 19-year-old suspected of being the driver in a fiery Tesla Cybertruck crash in Piedmont last year that left three people dead had drugs and alcohol in his system, according to the Alameda County Coroner's Office.

Three college students who died in a fiery Tesla Cybertruck crash in Piedmont last November had blood alcohol contents over the legal limit, as well as cocaine and other substances in their systems, according to Alameda County toxicology reports viewed by the Chronicle.

The teenagers perished when the vehicle collided with a tree and erupted in flames, causing Dixon and passengers Krysta Tsukahara, 19, and Jack Nelson, 20, to die from smoke inhalation, according to the autopsy reports. All three suffered serious burns and were pronounced dead at the scene.
