The Varun Dhawan starrer hit the big screens on December 25 coinciding with the Christmas holiday. While the actioner opened to a decent collection, it has failed to maintain the pace at the ticketing counter.

As Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Sureshs much awaited Baby John is hitting the theatres today, fans are wondering if the action thriller will be a hit at the box office.

Varun Dhawan’s Baby John had a mediocre start at the box office on Christmas. On its second day, which was a regular working day, it witnessed a sharp fall in collections. After making Rs. 11.25 crore on the first day, Baby John made Rs. 4.5 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. This takes its nett. domestic total to Rs. 15.75 crore.

After a decent opening, Baby John saw a drastic fall in box office revenue on Day 2, earning ₹4.40 crore, which is more than a 50% decrease from the previous day’s ₹11.25 crore.

Varun Dhawan-starrer has made around Rs 15 crore in the first two days, after registering a massive drop on day two.

Baby John's box office collections suffer a big dent on the second day due to Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule. It is worth to note that Allu Arjun's film was released 20 days prior to Varun's movie.

Despite seeing a decline of around 50 per cent in its daily box office numbers, the film raked made great numbers.
