Volunteers helped to collect old cellphones, computers, televisions, and other electronic items that are taking up space and collecting dust.

The event raises awareness about environmental protection.

This week will mark the first few days of May off the calendar, bringing hope that, perhaps this month will see the teetering off of random chilly days.
