Julius Deion Randle, a Kentucky native, was drafted 7th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2014. Born on November 29, 1994, Randle was named the NBA Most Improved Player in 2021.

Julius is currently on a deal that gives a $31 million player option for next season. Therefore, the star power forward could be a free agent this summer. However, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic recently wrote that Julius is trending toward being with Minnesota for the long haul.

Minnesota needed someone to stabilize the ship to get across the finish line first in enemy waters. As has often been the case over the past couple months, that person was Julius Randle.
