Luke Clanton received another sponsor’s exemption and will play in next week’s Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. When he does so, he will have a new look and wear Nike Golf apparel at a PGA Tour event for the first time.

The No. 1 amateur in the world continues to dominate the college scene and will have another chance to earn his PGA Tour card next week.

FSU junior Luke Clanton is looking to secure his PGA Tour card. He currently has 19 points in PGA Tour U Accelerated, one shy of clinching his card.

Clanton, a South Florida native, will play his hometown event on a sponsor invite, though it will likely mean he'll miss the Cabo Collegiate, FSU's next tournament.

The Amateur World No.1 claimed the Watersound Invitational on the collegiate circuit, with Clanton set to make his PGA Tour return at the Congnizant Classic
