New York Giants running back Devin Singletary will miss the upcoming Week 6 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cincinnati Bengals will be facing a shorthanded offense when they take on the New York Giants on "Sunday Night Football." On top of rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers being out with a concussion, the Giants downgraded starting running back Devin Singletary to out for Sunday night's game along with punter Jamie Gillan and wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton.

The New York Giants worked out Nolan Cooney and four other punters after Jamie Gillan (hamstring) popped up on the injury report.

The Giants are signing veteran punter, ESPN reported Saturday. The news comes one day after punter Jamie Gillan’s name surprisingly appeared on the injury report with an injury to his left hamstring strain (his kicking leg).

Giants punter Jamie Gillan is questionable for Week 6, so the team has added a veteran punter to their roster. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Giants are signing punter Matt Haack. Haack brings 99 games of regular-season experience to New York.
