New York City Deputy Mayor Philip Banks III is the latest member of Mayor Eric Adams' inner circle to step down.

Another top member of Mayor Eric Adams’ administration has said goodbye to City Hall. Philip Banks III, brother of recently ousted NYC Schools Chancellor David Banks, resigned his position of deputy mayor of public safety Sunday night,

Mr. Banks, the deputy mayor for public safety and a close friend of Mayor Eric Adams, resigned. He is among the officials whose phones were seized by investigators.
