"Another Simple Favor," on Prime Video Thursday and starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, fails to recapture the fun of the original because its humor is rooted in mean-spirited sniping.

Even though it never quite lives up to the sinful ferocity of the original film, this one remains an enjoyable watch.
