Harry visited the Superhumans Centre in Lviv, orthopaedic clinic and rehabilitation centre for adults and children affected by the war in Ukraine.

There is “no such thing as a war on motorists”, Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander said. The Cabinet minister said “no serious person” is suggesting tradespeople should “swap their van for a bus”.

Some 1,200 people will be made redundant and another 900 transferred to other departments under plans announced on Thursday.
